Lush place to comePosted on Helena Baker15/04/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Brilliant venue we have used for concerts and fundraisers. Great facilities including kitchen, stage and spacious clean main hall. Nothing too much trouble for staff members. A great option!Posted on Vanessa Sutcliffe07/01/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thank you to Tim and the team who were so helpful with the arrangements for our event at the Guildhall.Posted on Nongnut Francis27/10/2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great hall and amenities, very reasonable prices, very helpful staff and they stayed late to help us set up the night before.Posted on Stu Wright16/10/2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great venue for events. Had held 3 now and each time nothing is too much trouble. Excellent service from Tim and Mel.Posted on Emma Riley01/08/2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We booked the Chard Guildhall for an Evening event. It is such a beautiful building and is meticulously maintained. It's incredible to believe it is nearly 200 hundred years old, has seen 8 Monarchs accede the Throne and is still in perfect order. We have been able to have around 100 people at the venue for the occasion and we were all comfortable with use of the bar and comfort facilities. The staff who we booked the Guildhall through, clearly take great pride in the Guildhall and with their stewardship it will continue to be a wonderful venue for events like birthdays and other celebrations and get-togethers. Thanks Chard Guildhall for a lovely space to hire and a great booking service, we were so well looked after.Posted on Stewart Hull18/06/2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a great night at the Guildhall for our annual Chard School Old Cerdics Dinner. The staff were incredibly helpful, ie Tim, Gary and Mel. We'll be back next year hopefully and in the meantime, thoroughly recommended.
