Chard Museum pays its tributes as part of a week of events across Europe and the world. Diane Fairfax will host a talk and discussion of life in Germany when Hitler came to power and the impact it had on young peoples lives, with extracts from her father's video testimony as one who fled to England from Germany in 1938 on the first Kindertransport.
