This is such an excellent venue with a lovely atmosphere. The staff couldn't be more helpful and very professional in every aspect. Great sound system too and the lighting was perfect. Thank you to everyone involved for helping us to enjoy a brilliant party night, just as we envisaged.

The Guildhall staff, particularly Tim and Gary, were very helpful. The setting up for the Rotary Information Event was as we requested. The facilities such as the kitchen and area where we laid out a buffet was very clean. The fact that the Guildhall is situated more or less in the centre of the town, with car parks close by made the Guildhall an ideal venue for our event.

Cannot thank the Guildhall team enough for providing us with a excellent venue for our Strictly Come Dancing Event. Tim and Gary could not have been more helpful. Gary in particular changed lighting, set up microphones and put out chairs to make things easier for us on the night. The facilities were clean and tidy and the kitchen in good working order. A great evening in a great venue! Thank you Guildhall team!

Visiting the area so went inside to be thrown out by a rude dark haired man who raised his voice at me. I wouldn't recommend Visiting or trying to go to the cafe inside. Disgusting behaviour

We hired three rooms at the Guildhall for our charity's AGM and found the space and facilities to be excellent. Gareth and Tim planned our day to perfection and organised caterers and zoning for our the conference and lunch. They ensured the day ran smoothly without a hitch. I should say that as a charity we need to keep our costs to the minimum and the Guildhall offered exceptional value in that respect. Highly recommend for your event.

The hiring of the guildhall was a quick and easy process with excellant communication. The venue was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Gary the caretaker was excellant, he was helpful and polite. He had all the tables put out for us and also put them away after the event. Gary talked us through the fire procedure and also made sure fire exits were kept clear at all times. A very valued member of staff in our eyes.
