Auditorium
The Auditorium is the Guildhall’s largest hireable space at an impressive 1550 sq. ft. The Auditorium has lent itself to many different events including theatrical productions, band nights, ceremonies, conferences and many more.

Please note: the Kitchen and Café areas are only hireable independently when there is no booking in the auditorium. A booking may be cancelled up to 4 weeks prior to an event if an alternative hirer requests use of the auditorium.
Town Hall
The Town Hall on the second floor is an ideal meeting room and conference centre and has an external balcony overlooking the main street. This room is called the Town Hall due to it’s additional use as the Council Chambers, where Chard Town Council meet.

Mayor’s Parlour
The Mayor’s Parlour, located on the second floor, is perfect for small meetings . The Mayor’s Parlour is best suited for boardroom style meetings as it houses a large meeting table and space for a whiteboard.

Bondfield Room
The Bondfield Room is our newest and most intimate room available for hire. With a capacity of just 6 this makes it the ideal meeting place for one-on-one meetings, interviews or drop in sessions.

The café area is a light and airy space to serve refreshments, with tables and chairs provided and easy access to the kitchen and auditorium.
