DESCRIPTION:Chard History group meets monthly at Chard Guildhall with a very varied programme of presentations from guest speakers\, covering both Somerset and further afield and a wide range of subjects. Guests are very welcome and will find us friendly and open to all ages. Doors open 7:00pm and talk commences 7:30pm. \n\n\n\nWe also organise excursions to local places of interest\, publish books and have social gatherings. We have a very active Facebook group with pictures and posts by some 6\,000 members.
